2. Use of This Website

This website is provided for general information about our services. Nothing on this site constitutes legal advice, nor does accessing it create a solicitor–client relationship between you and Tawan Law. Content is provided in good faith but may not reflect the most current legal developments in Thailand.

You may not use this website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that interferes with its ordinary operation. Scraping, automated data collection, or any attempt to reverse-engineer site content is not permitted without prior written consent.

3. Legal Services and Engagement

A formal engagement with Tawan Law begins only when a written client agreement has been signed by both parties. Until such an agreement is in place, no advisory relationship exists and no duty of care is owed beyond ordinary professional courtesy.

Our services are offered at the fees set out in our current schedule. Service fees are payable as agreed in the client engagement letter. We reserve the right to revise fees for ongoing matters with reasonable notice.

We provide our services with care and reasonable professional skill. However, outcomes in legal matters, particularly contested ones, cannot be stated in advance, and we make no representation as to the result of any matter.

4. Confidentiality and Privilege

We treat all information shared by clients as strictly confidential. Communications made in the context of obtaining legal advice are protected by legal professional privilege under Thai law. We will not disclose client information to third parties except:

• Where required by a Thai court order or applicable law
• Where expressly authorised in writing by the client
• Where necessary to provide the agreed service (e.g. filing with the Department of Lands or Probate Court)

All content on this website — including text, layout, and design — belongs to Tawan Law or is used with permission. You may view and print pages for your personal reference only. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without written consent is not permitted.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

If you have a concern about any aspect of our service, we ask that you contact us directly in the first instance. We take all feedback seriously and will respond in a thoughtful and timely manner.

You may also raise concerns with the Lawyers Council of Thailand, which oversees professional conduct for Thai legal practitioners.

Continued use of the website after any changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms. For matters of engagement, changes are effective only when reflected in a signed client agreement.
